BEAT DOWN 2026 PHOTO RECAP

Our second annual BEAT DOWN rail jam went down January 10th at Loon Mountain. Loon shaped up a proper rail jam set up, the East Coast scene showed up, and riders truly put a beat down on the set up. Good snow year on the East Coast plus favorable temperatures made for all-time conditions for some good chaos. Scroll on for more from photos from the event as captured by Thrashley Photo

Started the day with Groms taking over the course. Shout out to all the parents for backing the next generation!

While the contest was going on outside, we had a cast of characters popping in and out of the Shapin’ Shack to sit alongside Lizard King and Seth Huot handling the livestream

After Grom Glass we landed in Chuck Town, population Open Class. Everyone was sending it chasing for podium placement.

Had a brief intermission between Open Class and Pro Class for our One Foot Race, a staple event for any Bomb Hole event. Rules are simple, line up at the bottom of the course, unstrap one foot, and first one to the top wins a board. Wade Barnes made it to the top in 30 seconds and scored a fresh CAPiTA board.

After the Loon crew refreshed the course, it was on to Pro Class and this was big since money was on line.

After Open Class wrapped, it was on the judges to make the tough decisions of putting together the podiums and figure out who’s going home with all the prizes and checks.
