Chad Otterstrom’s part from Kingpin Productions’ The Revival (1999).
Chad writes “1999 Silence Snowboards went under and I decided to do M3 snowboards with Blaise Rosenthal and friends. There was a lot of money flooding into snowboarding. Whitey who was Kingpin Productions had taken a break from making films and decided to make another movie. M3 jumped on board as a sponsor and Whitey hired my friend Kurt who I had filmed with the years previous to film. The 3 years previous were sort of a warm up for the big league productions like Kingpin and Mack Dawg. This was one of my more entertaining parts. I was a super shy introvert so the kits made me feel outta place, but in the long run it was all worth trying new things. I like this part because it has a lot of Colorado footage. I remember J2 and Whitey coming and hangin out at my apartment in Silverthore, thought that was cool.”
