How did you find Snowboarding? Skated and surfed as a kid, mum took me up Buller and I was on skis but always wanted to snowboard and finally was allowed to one day

Best Contest Result? Best time at Slush Magazine’s World Quarterpipe Championships

Favorite Snowboard Video? Buster 2, a lot of snowboard movies have super similar filming, editing, and songs. Buster 2 was a super refreshing street part had some jumping in it too so I love

Biggest Inspiration? Tough question, I have so much inspo, also depends on the day. someone who i’ve really looked up to over the years is Nick Puenter. Seen him every year at LAAX just doing something that always inspires me heavily. Glad to see he is starting to get the recognition he deserves.

What motivates you? Being happy is most important and snowboarding and riding with my friends makes me happy

Favorite filmer? Super controversial but the ski filmers do it better. the hotlaps videos are pretty nice I think and ecook is awesome too

Who brings the best energy? Super hard question because all my homies have good energy. Maybe Cool Wakashima cause she’s awesome and makes me do tricks

Worst Trend in Snowboarding? People being too cool. It’s not that hard to say hi, it’s a small community, everyone knows everyone, and it’s super weird that people just pretend not to know each other

Biggest fear? I hate aeroplanes

Is there a time where you should have died but made it out unscathed? Or Sketchiest moment? Mammoth South Park dub cat over a hip to nose pick, wouldn’t say I left unscathed but definitely a near death moment that I got lucky with.

A moment that you’ll never forget? This year in LAAX there were a few days where i was riding with like 20 Aussies and Kiwis all arvo doing p60, just everyone riding so quick down this really long park was so insane

Warm up or straight to business? Warm up when my coach is looking

When do you ride best? In the morning on a perfect weather day, lapping super quick
When do you ride your worst? No music at a FIS comp and the weather is bad

Best and worst place to snowboard?
Best LAAX in March. Worst is anywhere with ski school kids riding through the park

Interests Outside of Snowboarding? Love to surf and fish and I like mud crabs
