Park Report: Powder Mountain

Powder Mountain’s Terrain Park is Back and Uncrowded by Design
Another season is underway in Eden, Utah, at Powder Mountain and even if Powder is in the title, their park crew has been setting features and shaping up parks with a focus on progression-style flow this year. Their main park, the Hidden Lake Terrain Park is back with over 45 features varying from Extra Small to Large so you can truly start small and work your way up in true Smart Style park progression.

From boxes to rails to jumps and natural features, the park layout has progression in mind and is uncrowded by design with space between features. New for this season and located off the Timberline Lift is the Drifter Events Park, which will be open exclusively on event weekends. This is the one to lap when you’re looking for some high energy sessions with friends, new and old.

New parks for this season are The Natural Stash and The Progression Zone. As the name implies, The Natural Stash is all about natural and wood features stashed within the Hidden Lake Terrain Park. Park crew spent the summer building out the zone to include log rails, a pillow platform, a transition leading into a wallride, a step-down, and notably a road gap. The Progression Zone is a new zone dedicated to the groms and beginner riders looking to learn park skills in safe, unintimidating environment. Five features set for those exploring park features for their first time.

New features for the season mean some new faces are up lapping Powder Mountain including rippers like Madison Blackley, Melissa Riitano, Rob Roethler, Pat Fava, and many more. Catch those riders lapping alongside the locals for true proof of the progression factor of the Powder Mountain Parks.
