Research and Development (RnD) returned to Nelson, BC, for its third installment of the progressive women’s backcountry freestyle contest.

Founded by Robin Van Gyn, this year’s event brought together 15 riders from around the world in a format that combined scores from filming days and contest runs at Whitewater Mountain Resort’s Trash Chutes, where the top two spots advanced to the Natural Selection Tour.

This is the Jones Snowboards cut, spotlighting the Jones riders who showed up, threw down and made their mark in Nelson’s sidecountry.
