Japan has the kind of powder that keeps riders coming back season after season. It’s often the first trip of the year — the place riders go to get deep snow under their feet and reset for winter. A true preheat to backcountry riding. With a slow start in North America, our three-week trip to Hokkaido, Japan became exactly what we needed: a warm-up.
