WAYWARD – Teaser | A Documentary on the History of Women’s Snowboarding
WAYWARD is a feature-length documentary by filmmaker Mia Lambson Brady (former staff videographer at Snowboarder Magazine) that uncovers the untold history of women’s snowboarding. While iconic spots and crews have detailed timelines and trick histories, the story of women’s snowboarding has always felt a little fuzzier. WAYWARD sharpens that picture. Ask most snowboard nerds about the lore of a handrail and they can tell you every trick since 2001. But when it comes to the women who shaped the culture? Unless you were there, good luck finding it documented with the same depth. WAYWARD exists to finally give that history the attention it deserves. Driven by years of digging, archived footage, and dozens of interviews, the film traces 40+ years of progression, impact, and industry change. From early pioneers to modern-day icons, Mia’s deep dive surfaced more gold than could fit in a single movie—this teaser is the first look at that larger story.
