As a young 18 year old he packed up all his belongings in Vermont and moved west with Bomb Hole host E-Stone to pursue the life of a pro snowboarder. Settling in Vail, Colorado which had become the epicenter of pro snowboarding at the time Ali broke into the scene and started his Pro Snowboard career.
